Mrs. Verna Jane Schnarr, formerly of Listowel, passed away at Fordwich Village Nursing home on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, in her 89th year.
Predeceased by her first husband Reg Bitton in 1973 and second husband Gordon Schnarr in 2000.
Loved mother of Judi & Terry Walker and Robert & Shirley Bitton. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren; Paul & Sherry Gateley, Scott & Laurie Gateley, Gary & Jody Bitton and great-grandchildren; Justin, Chelsea, Devon, Jeremy & Jessica.
Dear sister of Earl & Audrey Wood and sister-in-law of Bill Woods, Maureen Wood, Joan Rolph, Sue Bitton and Mary Bitton.
Predeceased by 5 sisters; Cora, Inez, Helen, Bernice and Minnie, 4 brothers;Ross, Clarence, Ken & Murray and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Grant & Lois Bitton, Bud Bitton, Bill Bitton, Bill & Faye Baker, Gladys Bitton, Les Porterfield, Ralph Simpson, Bruce Speiran, Lycille Wood, Alvin Buchanan and her parents, John & Mary (Mayberry) Wood.
Funeral service will be held at the Listowel Community Family Funeral Home, Wallace Ave. N. at 8372 Fairlane Rd., Listowel, on Friday, Nov. 27/15, at 1 pm with Rev. George Russell officiating.
Interment Fairview Cemetery, Listowel & Memorial donations to Fordwich Village Nursing Home Resident’s Council would be appreciated.
