Shirley A. Nickel

With family by her side, Shirley Ann (Wattam) Nickel of Atwood passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the Listowel Memorial Hospital in her 73rd year.

Beloved wife of M. Paul Nickel. Loving mother of Catherine Nickel & Tony Kienapple, Elizabeth & John Nickel and Rosemary & Craig Kenney. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren; Jessica Nickel; Marcus, Dominic & Sophia Nickel; Andrea Nickel, Adam & Ashtin Kenney and will be greatly missed by “Dapper”.

Fondly remembered by siblings; Cathy, Bob (Donna), Carol (Bruce), Ivan (Maria), Ron (Carol), Barbara (Robin) and Rick, as well as 13 nieces & nephews, many great-nieces & nephews and 2 great-great nieces.

Predeceased by parents Norman & Doreen (Gazey) Wattam, brother David & niece Michele.

Also survived by extended family; brother-in-law Stewart Nickel, sister-in-law Judy Nickel & the late Bob Nickel, as well as several nieces & nephews. Missed by nephew baby Garrett.

Shirley was a long-time, faithful employee of Campbell Soup Co., Tim Horton’s & Wendy’s, as well as delivering The Independent & K-W Record.

A graveside service for family & friends will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
