1972-04-15 - 2025-11-16
Pamela Ann Bartman of Kurtzville (to her known as K-Town), was born on April 15th/1972 in Listowel, Ontario. Pam peacefully passed away on November 16th/2025 at the University Hospital in London, Ontario with her family by her side. Pam used her spicy personality to fight until her last breath but unfortunately her body was not able to fight anymore.
Pam was raised in Donegal, Ontario by her parents Barb and Gary Dahms. She and her sister Penny (Killam) spent their childhood camping and on the boat fishing with their parents. Pam would always brag about helping her dad skin muskrats to make a little extra money. She also never let her parents forget that every year for Christmas (her favourite holiday) she asked for a milky the marvellous & never received it.
Pam met the love of her life, Mike Bartman, in the year of 1990 at a dance where Mike looked at her and said "you like me and I know it" and the rest is history. They were engaged 9 months later and married the following year July 18th/1992 on Mike's birthday so he would never forget their anniversary. Pam and Mike celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary together this year. Their love was one that was supposed to last. If you got to witness their love for each other you were lucky.
Just a few years later they welcomed their firstborn son Cole Michael Bartman January 9th/1995. Just two years later on March 25th/1997 they welcomed their baby girl Olivia Audrey Ann Bartman. Pam was so proud of her babies and always made sure Olivia's hair was curled every morning before kindergarten and Cole had the best "hockey" hair as she spent the first few years in her career as a hairdresser. She later went back to night school at Conestoga College to become an educational assistant which she did & loved to do for many years before becoming sick and needing a kidney transplant. During that time she made sure her babies had the best childhood despite being in and out of the hospital fighting for her life. In 2011, Pam's mother gave her the gift of life for a second time by giving her a kidney.
Pam spent the last 14 years since receiving that second gift of life watching her children grow, being there for them in all the ups and downs of young adulthood, leading them to finding the loves of their lives and getting to watch them both get married. Cole & Stephanie Bartman getting married August 24th/2019 and Jake & Olivia Karley getting married July 26th/2025.
Pam & Mike's favourite role in life began February 24th/ 2022 when they became grandparents to Benjamin Cole Bartman & just this year on February 5th/2025 to Blake Robert Bartman. If you were looking for Pam you could find her wrapped in a blanket on the couch watching The Real Housewives or Vanderpump Rules while eating a plain sugar cookie & drinking a Diet Coke, or on a date day with Mike, or on her neighbours front porch drinking a tea gossiping about k-town.
Although Pam's time here was made far too short, we find comfort in knowing that Pam is no longer suffering and made an impact on so many people with her fiery personality & the ability to accept any dare given to her and making sure everyone gets a laugh. Though she was small she was very mighty.
Pam will be fondly remembered by Barb & Gary Dahms, Elmer & Helen Bartman (her mother and father in law), Penny, Mike & Emma Killam, Michele, Mike & Nicole DeBoer, Sarah, Justin, Grayson and Conner VanMeer, Kelly & Shawn Bartman.
As well as, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
We love you more sweetie, mom, grandma. - Mike, Cole & Steph, Liv & Jake, Benny & Blake.
