Mrs. Hermine Straube

With family by her side, Mrs. Hermine Maria (Finke) Straube of Listowel passed away at the Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 16, 2022, in her 88th year.

Beloved wife of Johannes (Hans) Straube.

Mr. & Mrs. Straube were married in Germany on December 30, 1959, and immigrated to Canada in January, 1960. They farmed in Wallace Township for 60 years.

Loving mother of Dorothy Noecker (Garth) of Moorefield, Brigitte Hamiilton (Brad) of Trowbridge and John Straube (Victoria) of St. Agatha.

Always remembered by grandchildren; Dustin Hamilton (Kayla Linstead) of Embro, Elizabeth Boyne (Cody) of Moorefield, Kyle Hamilton (Kelsey Alston) of Listowel, John Noecker of Moorefield, Becky-Lou Coghlin (Joel) of Listowel, Alexandra McDonald (Brandon) of Moorefield and great-grandchildren; Gabriel, Thatcher, Ryker, Logan, Fiona, Forest & Emmy Lou.

Predeceased by her parents, Herman & Martha (Halbfas) Finke.

Mrs. Straube’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Listowel, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am officiated by Reverend Ross Bartley.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted , with confidence, to Listowel Community Family Funeral Home, with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
