With his family by his side, Robert (Bob) George Hawthorne, R.R. 1 Listowel, passed away at the Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, in his 82nd year.
Beloved husband of Muriel (Selves) Hawthorne for 56 years. Loved father of Shelly (Bruce) Mitchell, Ann (Doug) McKay and Alan (Penny) Hawthorne. Lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren; Jeremy, Nicole (Tom), Aaron, Michaela, Cassie and Jordan.
Also survived by a brother-in-law, Bob Edwards & Earline and his faithful dog Tippy.
Predeceased by one sister, Ilene Edwards and his parents, Austin & Elizabeth (Cathers) Hawthorne and infant children Karen & Paul.
Visitation for family & friends to be held at the Elma Memorial Community Centre , Atwood, on Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm. with Rev. George Russell and Pastor Brian Hymers officiating. Interment Elma Centre Cemetery.
