Mr. Leonard Lucas

With family by his side, Leonard Charles Lucas, formerly of Listowel, passed away at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, on Friday, November 2, 2018, in his 92nd year.

Leonard was born in Grey Township, son of the late William John Lucas and the former Eliza Jane Wolfe. Beloved husband of Beth Lillian (Potts) Lucas. Loving father & father-in-law of Linda & Gary Mueller, Garry & Dianne Lucas and Barbara & Bruce Fletcher. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren; Kim (Rob), Dennis (Leona), Mike (Katie), Pam, Nadine (Lucas), David, Nathan (Rachel) and Jennifer, as well as eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by one granddaughter Darlene, as well as sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers and brothers-in-law; Bella & Albert Gaus, Gladys & Russ Lohr, Carl & Thelma Lucas, Alex & Vera Lucas and Harold Lucas. Also survived by sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law; Ida & Larry O’Shaughnessy, Dave Hartung & Lillian Henry, Jim & Shirley Potts, Pat & Glen McClement, Allen & Grace Hamilton, Susan & Ron Coghlin, Marilyn Potts and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law; Gladys & Clarence Newbigging, Jean & Donald Edgar, Margaret Hartung, Gerald & Heather Potts, Luella Hamilton, Bill & Denise Potts and Mel Rheubottom, as well as his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom & Ella Potts.

Visitation at the Listowel Community Family Funeral Home in Listowel, on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Trinity United Church , Listowel at 11 am with Rev. Colin Snyder officiating. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Fair Auditorium of Trinity United Church. Memorial donations to Major Andrew McKeever Legion Branch 259, Listowel, or Trinity United Church would be appreciated.
