John Douglas Johnston passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 2, 2019, in his 86th year.

Loved husband of lona (Quanz) Johnston.

Dear brother of Lois Reoch, brother-in-law of Marguerite Bridge, Ross & Karen Quanz and Eleanor Quanz.

Uncle of Dr. Jay (Wendy) Johnston, Jodeyne Johnston (Bob), Jorren Johnston, Lorell (Kathy) Reoch, Mary Lauraleen Reoch, Arden (Penny) Bridge, Susan (John) Brown, Stephen (Sarah) Quanz, Jennifer (Dan) Berry, Murray (Deborah) Quanz, Jeffery (Carol) Quanz, Valerie (Brad) Beaver, and Chad (Tanya) Quanz.

Fondly remembered by many great-nieces and great-nephews and three great-great-nieces.

Predeceased by his parents Huston & Edith Johnston, brothers Lorell, Wallace & his wife Pauline and brothers-in-law Allan Reoch, Donald Bridge and Donald Quanz.

Visitation to be held at Listowel Community Family Funeral Home, Wallace Ave. N. at Fairlane Rd., on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, from 12 noon until time of a private family service at 2 pm with Rev. George Russell officiating.

Interment Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
