Albert (Bert) Nelson Jack Hoffele of Kurtzville passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, in his 72nd year.
Beloved husband of Linda E. (Wallace) Hoffele. Loved father of Brian & Nicole, Brad, Jeff & Shelley. Loving grandfather of Chris & Kourtney, Nicole, Jessica & Austin, Tori, Mike, Brady & Vanessa, Travis, Damen, Amber, Jordan and great-grandchildren, Lucas, Madilynne, Destin, Quinton & Keegan. Bert will be greatly missed by his faithful dog, Bossley, Dear brother of Frank & Barbara and Charlie & Betty. Predeceased by his parents, Menno & Loretta (Bauman) Hoffele, one brother & sister in law, Joseph & Marylyn.
Bert was very community oriented and at present was Vice-President of Major Andrew McKeever Branch #259, Royal Canadian Legion, Listowel. Served in Wallace & Listowel Optimist Clubs, having been a former Lt. Gov. of zone 7 & 19 in 1991 – 1992.
Cremation has taken place.
Legion service to be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Parkview Gardens, Listowel, at 10.30 am followed by visitation for family & friends from 11 am to 1 pm; thence to Clifford Cemetery for inurnment at 2 pm. Following service at Clifford, service and remembrances to be held at Parkview Gardens commencing at 3 pm officiated by Padre Ralph Dwarika.
Memorial donations to Major Andrew McKeever Branch #259, Royal Canadian Legion , Listowel , Building Fund would be appreciated.
