Suddenly at his home in Turnberry Estates, Wingham, on Friday, April 8, 2022, Barry Carl James Stinson in his 82nd year.

Beloved husband of Karen (Roden – Johnston) Stinson.

Dear father of Melanie Carey (Robert), Charles Meyer (Nancy), Ronald Johnston (Terra), Michael Johnston (Tracey) & Shelley Johnston (Ned Zufic). Lovingly remembered by 19 Grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Brother of James Stinson (Darlene) and Barbara Kingsley (husband David predeceased). Brother-in-law of Gayle & Edward Metzger, Linda & Dave Black and David & Mary Roden. Fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews.

Predeceased by parents William & Irene (Klages) Stinson and one nephew.

Barry was an OPP officer serving in the communities of Mount Forest and Listowel prior to serving with the Milverton Community Police Service. He also drove transport truck for many years before finishing up his working life as a Correctional officer for the Provincial Government. He was a 45 year member of the Milverton Legion, Branch # 565. He will be sadly missed by all of his friends and companions who enjoyed hunting, fishing and volunteering at the fish hatchery in Kincardine.
