James Brown

Mr. James Allan Brown, of Listowel, passed away, with family by his side, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 9, 2024, in his 87th year.

Beloved partner of Ann Strutton. Proud father of Richard Brown and Dale Brown. Also remembered by Ann’s family; Traci, Susan, Jane, Cheryl, Sean and David, as well as 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Margaret Evon.

Predeceased by his wife Donna Marie (Evon) Brown, sister Ruby Anderson & husband Carl and brother-in-law Ronald and his parents Allan & Alice (Copeman) Brown.

Jim was a faithful member of Calvary United Church for many years, was on the staff of Campbell Soup Co., as well as their Poultry Division, and Ideal Supply Company for many years.

Visitation to be held @ Listowel Community Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 10 am until the time of service for family & friends to be held at 11 am with Pastor Steve Cowley officiating.

Interment Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
