Passed away suddenly at his cottage on Monday, September 5, 2016, George Brock Nichol, of Listowel, in his 64th year.
Beloved husband of Marilyn Ann (Ward) Nichol. Loved father of Curtis & JayCee Nichol and Alyssa Nichol. Proud grandfather of Gavin & Lewis. Dear brother of Susan & Jim Conners, Cathy & Paul Karges, Peter & Mary Anne Nichol and brother-in-law of Ron Ward, Marj & Orval Thiel, Doug & Liz Ward and Garry & Alison Ward. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents, George & Ruth Nichol, father-in-law & mother-in-law, Harrold & Margaret Ward and sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Bud & Marge Ward and Marion & Moe Smith.
George was a member of the Listowel Mennonite Church and President of the Listowel Rotary Club.

Funeral service to be held at Listowel Mennonite Church, 465 Maitland Ave. S., Listowel, On Friday, September 9, 2016, at 11 am. with Pastor Norm Dyck officiating.
Interment Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex would be appreciated.
