Doreen Whitfield

Mrs. Marjorie Doreen Whitfield of “The Village”, RR3, Listowel passed away at the Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 3, 2025, in her 95th year.

Beloved wife of the late Donald Ray Whitfield. Loved mother of Craig Whitfield & wife Shirley, and Kirk Whitfield, the late Brian Whitfield (1973) and the late Carolynn Whitfield (2023).

Always remembered by grandchildren Meghan Martin & husband Michael, Vanessa Schlumpf & husband David and great-grandchildren; Chase, Hilary, Logan, Hadley & Mason, as well as several nieces, nephews & friends.

Predeceased by her sister & brother-in-law Marion & Neil Forman & her parents Earl & Verna (Horn) Coghlin.

Doreen was a longstanding member of Trinity United Church in Listowel and formerly on the staff of CIBC in Listowel. She enjoyed watching hockey, gardening and catching up with friends over a cup of coffee.

Visitation to be held at Listowel Community Family Funeral Home, on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 10 am until time of a family service at 11 am with Rev. Canon Diane Hilpert-McIlroy officiating. Spring interment Fairview Cemetery, Listowel
