It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Debbie (Wagner) Spiegelberg, of Listowel on February 26, 2022, at the Listowel Memorial Hospital, with family by her side, after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Survived by her loving husband and best friend Larry, children Lisa Hennick (Scott) and Cory (Brittney), grandchildren Kayla and Nash, sisters Judie Werner (Hal), Dale Schmidt (Richard) and sisters-in-law Joy and Mary (Robert).
Predeceased by her mother Eveline, brother Bill, sister-in-law Linda, mother & father-in-law Jean & Milton and brother-in-law Gordon.
Debbie will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her fur-baby Ollie. Debbie was a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter and sister, adoring grandma and a true friend to all. Her infectious smile, friendship and gentle nature brought comfort to everyone. Her positive attitude endured every day and to the very end was a pleasure to be around. It is a comfort in knowing that she may now rest in peace.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, as per her wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation, 255 Elizabeth St. E., Listowel, ON, N4W 2P5 or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
We would like to thank all the staff and nurses at the Listowel Hospital for their exceptional care of Debbie.
