Martha Babineau (Cyr) of Listowel, ON, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Listowel Memorial hospital in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Reno Babineau.
Devoted and much loved mother of Edward & Cheryl Babineau, Colleen & Paul Whitson, the late Robert Babineau & Sue, Lorraine & Bryan Howarth, Brenda Babineau and Bridget & Keith Vanderheyden.
Martha was a proud grandmother (Memere) to Jesse, Eddy, Stephanie & Sean, James & Brittany, Christopher & Kim, Kaitlyn & Eric, Alex & Kendra, Mathew & Meagan, and Brent.
Predeceased by granddaughters Jennifer and Tracy.
Martha will be greatly missed by her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Ryker, Millie, Claire, Henry, Amelia, Damien, Ethan, Tracy, Sloane, Quinn, Rinley, Midori, Evelyn and Brooks.
Predeceased by sisters Mary, Ida, Emily, Edna, Azilda, and Simone, and by her parents, Benoit and Catherine Cyr.

Martha was born in Drummond, New Brunswick and moved to Ontario in 1954. In addition to being a mom to 6 kids, Martha extended her love to include many other children over the years. After moving to Listowel in 1979, Martha became a long time employee of the local Dairy Queen where she enjoyed meeting and serving her customers. Since retirement, Martha enjoyed spending time with her family and several dearly loved close friends, and loved to cook, read and do puzzles. She will be missed by everyone.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be announced at a future date. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Listowel Salvation Army Food Band would be greatly appreciated.
