William Donohue

“Tex” William Henry Donohue of Listowel passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the age of 79 surrounded by his loved ones at the Palmerston & District Hospital. He was known as a simple, loving man who made friends everywhere.

Beloved husband of Rosemary (Lynch). Loving father of Tammy (Rick), Lisa, Amanda (Kevin), Serena (Mike) and Jeff.

Devoted Papa of Jessie (Tyler), Tamarra (Brandon), Brayden (Malaya), Emma (Chance), Hunter, Maryjane, Adam (Anna), Shawn and his special angel Owen. Great Papa of Derick, Zoey, Eko, Jackson, Saraphina and soon to be Stevie. Brother of Wilma, Diane and Pat. Remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews and their families.

Predeceased by his Mom (Eva), three sisters Elva, Beatrice and one in infancy, two brothers Johnny and Carmen. Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life to honour Tex Donohue will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Listowel Community Family Funeral Home from 1:30 pm until 5 pm.

Memorial donations to the Palmerston & District Hospital, 500 Whites Rd., Palmerston, Ontario NOG 2PO would be appreciated.
