Mrs. Shirley Isabel Rea of Listowel passed away as the result of a severe stroke at the Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Murray Rea.
Loved mother of Karen & Murray Alexander, Sheri & John Phillips, Don & the late Jannett Rea, Dereck Ward & the late Patricia Ward and the late Dennis Rea.
Fondly remembered by grandchildren; Michelle, Kris, Lorri, Chris, Jody, Anthony, Terri, Collin and Nicole and seven great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Marion Wood & Len Campbell. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Predeceased by her parents, Boyd A. Campbell & Sarah E. Coulter, sisters Ethel, Annie, Hazel and brothers Howard & Jack.
Shirley was an active member of Knox Presbyterian Church, the Wallace WMS and loved spending time with her family at the farm.
A private family visitation will be held at the Listowel Community Family Funeral Home on Saturday, May 1, 2021, followed by a public drive-by at the home of Don Rea, 3rd concession of Wallace Twp. commencing at 3 pm.
A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery on Monday, May 3, 2021, with Rev. Don McCallum officiating.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions face masks are required and social distancing will be maintained.
